30-Day Social Content Calendar
30 days of content. 4 pillars. 4 platforms. Built so you ship, not stare at a blank doc.
Why this exists
Most social calendars die on day 4 because the prompts are too generic ('share a tip', 'post a quote'). This calendar uses the 4-pillar structure (authority, proof, education, personality) Xpand uses for B2B clients on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X. Each day has a specific format and a specific prompt. Customize once, run for 30 days, review the data.

Pillar drift check. am I 30/25/25/20?
Posting cadence beats posting brilliance. Five mediocre posts per week outperform one brilliant post per month. for almost every B2B account under 50K followers.
How to use it well
Pick ONE pillar to start (not all four). Usually authority for B2B founders. Lock the daily slot in Notion or Buffer at the same time every day so the team operates on rhythm, not vibes. Review weekly against engagement and pipeline-attributed-to-social metrics. If a pillar is not performing after 14 days, swap it with another. Do not add a fifth.

FAQ
Should I post on every platform or pick 2?
Pick 1-2 platforms where your ICP actually spends time, then dominate. LinkedIn for B2B SaaS / professional services. TikTok for DTC / consumer. Instagram for visual products. Posting low-effort cross-postings to 4 platforms beats serious content on 1. wrong direction. Pick one to win, add a second once the first is humming.
How long does it take to see traction?
30-90 days of consistent posting before the algorithm has signal on your content. The first 30 days is data collection. what's working, what's not. Days 30-90 is when you double down on winners. Past 90 days, growth compounds if the calendar is being followed.
Should I write everything myself or use AI?
Hybrid. Use AI for outlines, hooks, and first drafts. your perspective is what makes it worth reading. Pure AI posts read formulaic and the algorithm is increasingly good at filtering them. AI accelerates the writing; the thinking has to be yours.
What's a healthy engagement rate to aim for?
LinkedIn B2B: 3-7% engagement on posts (engagement / followers). Below 2%, the content is not resonating. Instagram B2B: 1-3%. TikTok organic: 5-10% on the right hook, much lower on missed hooks. X / Twitter: under 1% is normal for accounts under 10K followers.
